Too often, teaching about the rest of the world focuses only on food, fun, and festivals without promoting real education. At Belas Artes we strive to offer deeper understanding and appreciation of global cultures and their interconnections. During these six weeks of Asian Art Exhibit and Festival youth and adults will be able to gain knowledge through art appreciation and purchasing of ancient and modern Asian Art, learn techniques, taste typical food and beverages, and be amused by the colors and rhythms of the performances. But above all, we hope that you will take the time to not only be amused but primarily be amazed and realize the meanings behind all of that.
Belas Artes is located at 1854 Russell Blvd, St. Louis MO 63104 - 314-772-2787
This event is made possible with the support of the Regional Arts Commision and the following organizationswww.chineseculturepda.com Philippine Art Foundation http://www.us-japan.org

Through the art we expose the community to the wealth of expressions of the humanity and promote a better comprehension of world's cultural pluralism and diversity ©
